Production Operative (annual salary £24k – £27k depending on experience)
We are recruiting a production operative to work in our busy workshop in Stirchley. The main tasks will be preparing orders for dispatch / collection, as well as some customer facing tasks.
We are a growing business with a wide and diverse customer base and product offering, and we need someone to take responsibility for production of our orders. We are looking for an enthusiastic and hard-working individual, with an ability to work quickly and efficiently whilst maintaining our high-quality standards. The candidate will be required to manage their own workload proactively, organise and maintain the workshop and deal with customers/take orders.
Hours are 9am-5pm Monday to Friday, with one or two Saturday shifts per month (12pm-3pm). Some flexibility will occasionally be needed when overtime is required. Role to commence in January. Full training given, relevant experience preferred but not essential.
The main tasks will comprise:
- Producing picture frames
- Making notice boards
- Stretching canvas
- Preparing print orders
- Answering the phone/speaking to customers in the shop
- Taking customer orders
- Organising the workshop including inbound deliveries
