How we worked with up and coming artist Charlotte Walden to help fulfil her online art sales

Local artist Charlotte Walden has been developing her brand ‘Made By Charl Studio’ for the past 3 years. Having previously studied art and design and working at an interior design company, she made the leap to create her own business as an artist.

Charlotte produces her own original artwork, most recently completing her first collection “Welcome To The Wild” which explores the use of design, mixing vibrancy and metallics to showcase the real beauty that nature has to offer and raise awareness for endangered animals. Additionally, she loves working which clients to create custom commissions from realistic portrait drawings to large abstract pieces to complete their interior. She is always excited to try something new: “what’s worse than putting a limit on creativity?”

The success and popularity of Charlotte’s work on Instagram and Facebook lead to demand for her to supply limited edition hand embellished giclée prints to her growing number of followers. She brought her originals in for us to scan on our high resolution Epson Express 12000XL Pro scanner, so we could run off some test prints to help her decide which paper would best suit her art.

After tweaking the files and reviewing the samples, Charlotte settled on the Precision Textured 300gsm paper. The first print releases were very popular and before long Charlotte was packing up prints to send all over Europe, America, Australia, New Zealand and Canada!

“From sending my first email to Precision to enquire about scanning my work for the first time, to this week collecting a large number of prints for my third launch, they have helped guide me throughout the whole process. I decided on the Precision Textured 300gsm as the weight, quality and feel of the paper accurately captured the smallest of details from my artwork. I’m just at the beginning of my journey and I have so many exciting projects in the pipeline and I look forward to working together to see what we can produce!”
